Season of Fire

The air is changing in Tennessee and man is it refreshing. Growing up in South Florida you really don’t have any real grid for what seasons are and why they're so great until you move to a state that has them. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful that I grew up in a state where you can comfortably go lay on the beach Christmas day. Florida and the endless summer will always have a special place in my heart. That said, the cool fall air pushing out the hot summer air brings an atmospheric shift, and spurs me to press into God’s heart to ask, “What’s Next?” What does this next season hold, and how do we as a Church respond? If you have been participating in the Sunday morning services in person or online you have probably recognized that we have been experiencing a strong manifestation of the Lord's Presence. I am so thankful for this and want to honor what he has done. It’s humbling that the Father would use our services to show up and minister to people like He has. It’s something we can never take for granted, and at the same time, we have to recognize that there is more He is calling us to…

The changing of the seasons from summer to fall is a reminder. To honor what God is doing and what He has done, but to be ready and willing to adjust to what He wants to do next. I truly believe that “Fire School” is a bridge to prepare and lead us into what’s next. If you're still waiting to decide if you’re supposed to be there let this be confirmation. SIGN UP NOW. If you can’t make this one no problem, there will be others. Please pray for the school and share the event on social media. I won’t pretend to know what lies ahead for this winter other than cooler weather. That said, cooler weather should prompt those who are wise to prepare to have some sort of heat or fire. I think that’s fitting. Let’s prepare for a season of Holy Spirit Fire…

Ecclesiastes 3:3

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.

Love,

Pastor John
