1 Peter 4:10,11
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Greetings from Reynosa!
I have been here for three days now, attending the Kaleo Family Gathering. Here is the best word I can use to describe how it has been so far. GLORY!
I have spent the last couple of days connecting with the other Kaleo ministry leaders and pastors. God is moving powerfully and creatively in our Kaleo Family.
In the English speaking pastors meeting, I have listened to how Jesus has a specific strategy to reach people in various regions of America, Europe, Africa and more. Including the region we are called too… Appalachia.
It’s humbling to know that we are connected to a network of revivalist all over the world who are passionate and committed to building the Kingdom of God, wherever He has called them too. During this trip specifically, the Lord reminded me of how wonderfully diverse the people of God are. We are all different, with unique gifting's. The gifts He has graced us with are perfectly suited for the region He called us too.
You and I, united as the Church, have the perfect blend of gifts that God desires to use that will reach people in this part of the country. The only requirement we have is to use our gifts to serve the people that God has called us to in order to Glorify His name. I want to encourage you this week to once-again press into the Lord and allow Him to remind you of how wonderful and unique the gifts are that He has given you. From that place, ask yourself these questions… Am I using the gifts God has given me to serve the people he has called me to? Is the name of Jesus being glorified through my life and unique to the gifts He has graced me with?
Love,
Pastor John
