Just Say Yes
James 4:8
Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field.
This week has been such a refreshment! I had the privilege of traveling to one of the main Kaleo bases in Reynosa, Mexico to be a part of the teaching team for this year's fall Leadership School. I had the privilege of teaching and imparting what God is doing in our Livingston First Church body into the believers in Mexico. While at the same time I received and got saturated again in the vision God has called our greater Kaleo Movement too. It is indeed a Holy Transaction. God is good and will do more in our lives then we could ever dream, if we can just say yes and commit to yielding to His leading.
As I sit in the airport ready to return home to be with all of you, I want to let you know we are headed in a very good direction. Of course, there is no such thing as the perfect church or ministry. Where people are involved, grace is required. Though I can honestly say, we are in a very healthy and strong movement or network. Our leaders are dedicated to the call and are sincere in their love of God’s Word and encountering His Presence. If we continue saying yes to Jesus and stay pressed into His Holy Spirit we are going to see some incredible things happen. I know things in the world seem crazy right now and unpredictable. I get it, but don’t allow that to distract you. Stay focused on Him and what He has called us too. As believers we don’t have to hedge our bets with God. You can trust Him fully with your life. He will never lead you anywhere, where He is unwilling to empower you. That means the more chaotic the world gets, the more power-filled the Church will be. YAY! So let me ask you, have you given Him your full yes? Are you standing on the Solid Rock of Christ? Regardless of what happens in the world, do you know who holds your future? As always, I love you and look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
