I hope all of you, my beloved brothers and sisters, had a very Merry Christmas. I look forward to ringing in the New Year with each of you on Sunday morning. This last year has been exciting to say the least. We have seen God doing many wonderful things and confirm many words from the year before. I want you to know that we are going into this New Year full speed ahead. A couple of major events happening in the beginning of 2023 that you should be aware of.
1. We are starting a church-wide fast in unison with our greater Kaleo Family starting January 9th - January 29th. I encourage you to participate by asking Holy Spirit what you should fast during this time. Whether it be a Daniel fast from meats and sweets or a social media fast it makes no difference. I only ask that you fast according to how you hear Holy Spirit calling you to. The point of fasting is to crucify our flesh, so we may draw our spirits closer to Jesus. Corporate fasting is not a contest to see who is most pious among us.
2. Once again this year we are going to be hosting the Kaleo Fire School February 2-4. The link to sign up to attend is currently available on our website. I strongly encourage you to sign up quickly if you wish to attend. Space is limited and this conference will fill up fast! For those that don't know Fire school is a three day intensive for going deep in Holy Spirit presence. The school involves world class worship, teaching and ministry time. Over the years, I have watched countless lives be set ablaze for Jesus because of this school. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to grow in the Lord!
3. We are gathering for Sunday morning church on Jan 1st! I want to encourage you to be there this Sunday. As always our focus will be the presence of God and what He wants to do, though I feel like there will be a special invitation from Him to go deep to start the New Year. I encourage you to join us, if possible and of course, invite a friend. We are going to worship through music and His Word, and allow Him to speak vision to us for this next year.
